The selected individual will manage major suppliers and subsystems for the IFG F-16 Domestic Development and Production Teams. In this position, tasks will include subcontract and supplier management, as well as project management. Duties include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance, interface with functional organizations and supplier management. Prepares Request for Proposal packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract terms, price and schedule, routes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Responsible for subcontracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Will mentor less experienced procurement professionals. Travel may be required.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience with one of the following: subcontract management or procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships, negotiations, data analysis
- Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay.
Desired Skills:
- 6+ years’ experience with supply chain management, procurement or purchasing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
- Experience with analyzing problems and implementing solutions
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), or Department of Defense Contracts (DOD)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
