  About the role

  We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Structural Revit Lead to join our multi-disciplinary Water team at Stantec. This fast growing team continues to win and deliver some of the most iconic projects.   As our Senior Structural Revit Lead, you will play an integral role in making transformative digital improvements to our engineering solutions that we provide to clients. You will:

  Lead, undertake, advise and direct others throughout the project lifecycle (proposal development to delivery) of the BIM and digital requirements for water projects.

  Take ownership of the implementation and management of BIM (technology and process) on projects during design, construction and handover.

  Work with our Design & Lead teams to mesh BIM and project objectives before and during project delivery

  Create, establish and/or validate project EIRs, BEPs, other associated BIM documents and procedures, including managing communication, information exchange/flow.

  Manage information quality and quality assurance procedures, curate and develop workflows to coordinate information exchange, ensuring security of all digital project information

  Mentor & develop others and leading our training initiatives to maintain and improve our BIM delivery.

  Work closely with the Structural Discipline Lead, Revit Application Lead and Design Technologies Discipline Lead to define how structural deliverables are developed and presented on water projects.

  Lead the structural Revit design team across the Water NZ business

  What you will bring

  You will be an experienced BIM professional, motivated to lead digital engineering solutions and further develop your BIM capability. You will have proven Business Information Management experience within a consultancy environment, ideally in Water Infrastructure with a structural focus, delivering complex projects.

  You will also possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills and have a track record of innovation and continuous improvement in BIM and digital engineering workflows.

  Additional attributes that may help you succeed in the role:

  Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Design, Digital or other relevant discipline

  BIM Management certifications desirable

  ISO19650 accreditation

  Advanced skills in tech tools such as Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Revizto

  Proven experience in mentoring others and developing & implementing engaging technical training programmes

  Knowledge or experience of using visualisation tools such as Dynamo, Rhino, PowerBI, Python, preferrable
