The Strategy Advancement Senior Professional, Discovery & Strategic Partnerships provides data-driven strategic direction to identify and evaluate potential vendor partners with the goal of advancing business priorities and clinical objectives. Provides vendor screening and evaluation and market landscaping support for the Medicare business segment and potentially the company at large. The Strategy Advancement Senior Professional works on problems of diverse scope and typically substantial complexity.
The Strategy Advancement Senior Professional, Discovery & Strategic Partnerships enables the enterprise to effectively and intentionally collaborate with best-in-class strategic partners in order to advance our clinical and experience objectives. This person will work autonomously and exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks.
In this role you will:
Work closely with internal stakeholders to navigate ambiguity by defining needs and evaluating opportunities - e.g., define future state vision, key requirements, and evaluation criteria for comparing vendors
Support selection of strategic partners for solutions aimed to improve clinical outcomes for the Medicare population; includes client management of our internal business partners like Clinical Strategy, Retail Product & Growth; initial screening of companies, leading evaluation meetings with potential vendors, and analysis needed to make a recommendation
Perform research and analysis on consumer and industry trends; vendor landscaping for specific clinical priority areas

Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts to analyze and synthesize information, develop insights and produce recommendations based on company and external data analysis

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function

Role Essentials
Bachelor's Degree
3 or more years of consulting, strategy development, commercial and/or strategic planning or business strategy experience
Healthcare experience
Strong critical thinking skills
Strong analytical experience: being able to synthesize data, develop a methodology to help bring strategies together, and present on those strategies
Microsoft Excel modeling & PowerPoint presentation skills
Translating ambiguity into structured framework and/or processes for analysis
Experience leading a cross-functional group of leaders/teams
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with ability to flex to different audiences
Ability to conduct, interpret, and leverage data and analytics to improve strategy and make recommendations

This position is remote with preference in our Louisville or Washington, DC office
Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
