We are seeking a dynamic and professional product engineer (PE), who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced, technical, and friendly environment. In this position you will be focused on product requirements, technical marketing, and support of the Questa OneSpin Formal Verification products. You will work closely with product development teams, marketing managers, and customers. Some domestic and international travel is required.
Defining product features
A PE is expected to gather customer feedback and requirements to identify current and emerging design challenges. They meet with product development and marketing teams to connect these challenges with Siemen’s current and emerging technical solutions. PEs must capture product requirements, define methodologies, and drive product rollout to evolve the next generation products and solutions.
Supporting marketing activities
PEs work closely with marketing teams to perform market research, product positioning, and create presentation materials. They present and demonstrate the Questa OneSpin formal verification products in conferences, seminars, and events. After product deployment, they join marketing in determining, developing, and refining a path to reproducible sales.
Working with customers
This role requires management of multiple customers and customer issues concurrently. A PE must effectively build and manage customer relationships. Customer support activities include product demonstrations, training, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. The PE plays an active role in developing solutions to solve customer problems based on their insight into the customers’ environments and understanding of their verification challenges. The ability to prioritize and drive tool requirements to help solve those challenges will be critical to your success.
Ideally, this role will be filled by a seasoned Application or Design Engineer who has knowledge of RTL design and verification methodologies. Additional responsibilities include:
• Managing technical relationships with Siemen’s existing customer base. Developing a network of technical relationships at a peer-to-peer level with both our customers and the product engineering teams
• Delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to a range of audiences including users, managers, and decision-makers
• Influencing product direction by gathering customer requirements and meeting with product development and marketing teams
• Participating in new feature specification, development, and validation processes to ensure the products will meet customer requirements
Job Qualifications
• 10-year ASIC and/or FPGA design experience with formal verification and debug.
• Programming experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, TCL/TK, and Python
• On the job experience writing and debugging formal properties such as SVA
• Understanding of EDA tools such as Questa formal apps, OneSpin formal alls, VC-Formal, or Cadence Jasper
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus
• Occasional travel is required
• Education: B.S.E.E or equivalent; M.S.E.E. preferred or equivalent

The salary range for this position is $121,400 to $218,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
