  Within Value Chain Management (VCM), the Business Process Analyst will work in a matrix organization supporting the Value Chain team across the small molecule product portfolio. VCM is accountable for the Manufacturing Division product strategy in alignment with Manufacturing Division and Global Human Health (GHH) brand/franchise goals as well as for leading continuous improvement of the product supply chain.

  Product scope includes new and in-line products within Global Pharmaceutical Operations. VCM work is strategic by definition, spanning the entire life cycle of products, stabilizing the ongoing business through appropriate risk management, and designing the supply chain for the future. The position is highly integrative and requires strong data analytics capabilities, solid business acumen, and project management skills to prioritize and drive results. The role also requires team building as well as exceptional communication skills.

  Responsibilities

  Product/Project Management

  The successful candidate will support Product Leaders or Product Managers in end-to-end value chain management in the long-term time horizon with the objective of establishing the strategic direction and key areas of focus for assigned products, which may include:

  Supporting running the Value Chain Management Team (VCMT) or Supply Chain Working Group (SCWG) composed of cross functional representation from end-to-end functions.

  Supporting strategic projects associated with the priorities from the product master plans that drive portfolio/network value creation opportunities to maximize brand assets.

  Supporting execution or refresh of key business processes for the product(s), including Product Master Plan (PMP), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Supply Chain Design (SCD), Global Filing and Launch Strategy (GFLS), and Model Supply Chain (MSC).

  Business Process Support

  Responsible for managing and implementing best practices and business process standards across VCM.

  Acting as an SME on key business process for VCM, which may include Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Change Control, and others.

  Data Analytics

  Supporting Strategic Asset Management (SAM) team, including leading annual network capacity refresh for GPO sites, modeling scenarios for pipeline products or source changes to support Supply Chain Design and siting decisions, and supporting continuous improvement of the business process and tool capabilities.

  Supporting value stream mapping activities.

  Supporting realization of value and sustaining analytical activities, that seek to embed analytical tools within business processes and establish standardized work.

  Developing and integrating digital tools to support and improve product management and business processes.

  Education Requirements

  BA/BS Required (Engineering, Science, or Supply Chain Management)Experience and Skills

  Required

  Minimum of three (3) years relevant work

  Ability to work across boundaries and cultures, comfortable dealing and navigating a global business environment

  Strategic interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

  Strategic thinking and ability to assimilate highly complicated and multi-factored inputs into an integrated strategy that clearly links to business objectives

  Proactive mindset and ability to look outside the assigned role with an eagerness to identify and engage in opportunities to improve value chains and related business processes within the organization

  Cross functional/cross divisional project management with geographically diverse teams driving high impact results and influencing processes along with behaviors

  Ability to align teams to solve problems and resolve uncertainties, and bringing innovation into every day thinking to mitigate risks

  Preferred

  Understanding of End to End supply chain operations

  Project Management Certification

  Lean Six Sigma/MPS Certification

  Proficient with SAP | QLIK | Spotfire | Office 365

  U.S. Hybrid Work Model

  Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.
