Overview
The Asia Pacific (AP) Product Marketing team is looking for a Senior Specialist, B2B Marketing to drive business growth by creating assets and implementing marketing strategies to support the product and sales teams. The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills, strong communication skills, is detailed oriented and possesses and entrepreneurial mindset.
We aim to:
• Be the resident marketing expert for all our suite of products & solutions. Leverage market intelligence & insights about payment usage trends and competing products to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with business teams to design and develop sales enablement materials & compelling sales tools for sales team to leverage & sell.
• Explore creative and relevant ways to communicate Mastercard's product story.
• Generate awareness for products and eventually leads for sales via campaigns and events
• Support all go-to-market product launches to create awareness & drive adoption & usage. Partner with Research team to provide insights into design of product & features to that will create differentiation for end users.
• Distribute all marketing content (product and merchant content) via marketing owned platforms for easy access.
AP Product marketing works closely with all stakeholders in the Product & Marketing organization at Global/Division/Country level. We also partner and leverage appointed agencies to deliver successful outcomes aligned to our objectives.
Role
• Build awareness of Mastercard as a forward-thinking paytech company beyond cards and interest in products
• Take end-to-end ownership of planning and management of in-person, online, hybrid events (for example webinars, breakfast mornings, roundtables, workshops, sponsorship of tradeshows, network sessions etc.) including identification of and securing opportunities & partnerships, sourcing of venues, development of event theme, materials, invitations, and registration process, onsite management, promotion of event and evaluation of event performance
• Run non-event related lead generation campaigns in consultation with business development and sales teams
• Drive a confident and conversant sales force
• Develop a broad understanding of Mastercard's business through close partnership with Product & Services leads & translating this into compelling product story in the form of sales enablement materials. Such materials can take a variety of creative format including interactive tool, powerpoint deck, videos & demo.
• Day-to-day lead overseeing the maintenance and re-certification of sales materials on our internal Product & Sales Center to ensure that all materials are up to date (content and branding) and relevant for the sales team to leverage
• Drive usage of Mastercard products with partners
• Develop B2B2C toolkits for key Mastercard Products & Services, that will enable partners with the assets they need, to drive usage of our solutions
Deliverables
• Organise, coordinate and administer events.
• Execute and deliver lead generation programs and activities.
• Successful delivery of compelling sales enablement materials.
• Manage agencies to efficiently deliver events and sales enablement materials that are on strategy & in a timely manner and to budget.
All about you
• University degree
• 5 years' experience in marketing including planning & executing events or working for events/ creative agency
• Excellent time and project management skills. Abe to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
• Happy to work in a quickfire work environment where internal/external requests can demand a flexible approach to the daily routing
• Willing to work outside of core hours when required
• Strong influencing & negotiation skills as this role requires working through others to deliver.
• Self-starter, able to work independently but also a good team player with good relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in creating reports and presentations
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), internet and other computer software/applications
• Experience with B2B marketing and/or payments industry will be an advantage
