The opportunities
We are looking for a Document Cloud Solution Consultant (SC) to join our Digital Media Mid-Market Japan Field Sales Team! You will work directly with customers to up-sell and cross-sell Adobe's portfolio of Digital Media offerings, develop strong customer partnerships, deliver product presentations and point-of-view documents, and ensure customers realize tremendous product value from their investment.
The SC helps the customer to understand how these solutions will work in the real world, using presentations and demonstrations (prebuilt and custom) that clearly articulate the context of these solutions in the customer's daily work stream. The SC is responsible for providing experienced skills in implementing signature solution offerings and integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions, and collaborating with clients' existing IT infrastructure. SCs also assist in developing business value propositions around Adobe DC solutions and participate as part of a sales team to deliver and exceed revenue targets.
What You'll Do
• Ensure customers engage across Adobe's complete Cloud portfolio and workflows by up-selling and cross-selling Adobe's Document Cloud products: Acrobat and Sign
• Upsell customers to higher level value, such as Teams-to-Enterprise offerings
• Build a high-quality, comprehensive pipeline by uncovering new customer use case opportunities
• Maintain deep product knowledge and customer best practices across our Document Cloud and Sign platforms
• Create and deliver product value presentations and point-of-view documents to customer collaborators and executives
• Align with internal stakeholders such as Account Managers, Account Executives and Product Marketing to guide the customer through successful purchase and launch
• Stay accountable for customer growth within Adobe's Document Cloud
• Ensure that customers are realizing value from their investment by engaging with them in value-driven conversations as well as demonstrating scale outreach initiatives
• Build and develop customer relationships to support customer growth and expansion
• Represent the voice of the customer internally to improve customer and product experience
• Effectively network within assigned customers to successfully support the customer's deployment strategies and uncover new use cases
• Use data insights to drive scale and customer touchpoints
• Present in 1:1 and 1:many events that drive the expansion of customer footprint and cross-sell other Adobe solutions
• Drive Document Cloud pipeline generation through active customer touches and lifecycle support
• Experience in software development, especially web/cloud-based solutions, is a plus
What you need to succeed
•3+ years of relevant work experience in sales and/or customer success with a preference for experience in the technology industry
• Strong history of successfully navigating customer challenges to resolution
• Strong history of sales quota or customer success metric attainment and achievement.
• Previous experience working as a trusted advisor to drive business value and sales expansion opportunities
• Proven experience as a self-motivated, collaborative, and responsible professional who is passionate about exceeding client expectations
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Resourceful: able to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively in ambiguous environments
• Communicative: exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
• Influential: strong relationship management skills; proven ability to effectively navigate organizations and champion joint partnerships
• Engaging: highly effective at leading and facilitating executive meetings and engaging with the C-Suite
• Available to travel
• Native Japanese and business proficiency in English
