You would be a part of a team that delivers complex software requirements to meet emerging and evolving market demands.
Our team is responsible for delivering creative, solution-focused demonstration implementations to the Sales organization for presentation to prospective customers. We are currently growing our team to dedicate more time and effort to support our sales efforts.
The position involves working directly with members of the Solution Consulting and development team to configure our complex solution demonstrations that include country specific localizations. In this role we look for critical problem solvers - people who can rapidly consume domain knowledge and design and configure comprehensive functionality in Guidewire’s suite of products. We place a high value on being able to contribute to a fast paced environment in a multitude of development related tasks.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of software development experience or configuring packaged application software with an ability to grow in to a product lead position. You must be a self-starter and able to perform with minimal direction while working in a diverse team environment following Agile processes for software development. You must have strong technical skills, such as the ability to code in a front-end or back-end programming language or full-stack, debug complex issues, or troubleshoot environment configuration issues, knowledge and experience on Cloud Data and Analytics Solutions
Although this is not a customer facing role, it may require you to craft, develop, and configure creative innovative solutions according to prospects’ requirements, then sell your idea to Guidewire's internal users. A typical candidate for this role should be comfortable multi-tasking. Be able to remove blockers from dependencies, have strong problem solving skills and has a Computer Science degree or equivalent
