　　Role overview

　　Develop backend jobs with other members of the Algorithmic Traffic Acquisition team. This team collaborates with our Consumer Marketing group to bring paid traffic to CarGurus. They write proprietary algorithms and do data analysis to come up with ways to buy traffic efficiently, discover new search keywords, and use recommendation engines to find cars users will love.

　　Specifically you will be part of our Attribution team which interfaces with our ad partners to analyze ad performance and use that data to optimize the control of our bidding and value attribution of CarGurus' advertising.

　　What you'll do

　　Develop functional code interfacing with mysql, snowflake, and our ad partners like Google. Evaluate ad efficiency using counterfactual attribution model. Build code to monitor the system for unusual outputs and mitigate any adverse impact.

　　What you'll bring

　　Architecting scalable software in a batch environment. Develop performant software in a functional language, e.g. Kotlin. Analysis of large data sets & adaptive machine learning algorithms.
