UKG is seeking a full-stack Senior Software Engineer with solid .NET and React/Knockout expertise to play a key role on the Talent Acquisition team! You will be focusing on full-stack development of innovative customer-focused experiences to help the company expand its solutions portfolio.
You'll be working in an agile environment to create a responsive and accessible front-end experience and adapt an existing codebase to develop the APIs to power it. You'll partner closely with the other software and quality engineers on your team, and with the product managers, analysts, and architects who bring requirements to the table.
• Lead the development of new customer features and fixing critical issues across both web and mobile interfaces
• Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Foster the culture of driving quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
• Triage complex application issues
• Collaborate with product analysts, architects and engineers to develop and review requirements & design
• Learn new technologies, methodologies and practices to increase the productivity of the team
• Participate in collaborative code reviews to help learn and proper coding techniques and prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause-analysis for system-related issues in Enterprise level software as part of an on-call rotation
• Work independently to coordinate and implement technical solutions while mentoring other engineers
• This role would be a hybrid model going into our Weston, FL office 3 days per week
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience engaging with software/test engineers on enterprise level software development projects
• At least 3 years of experience in using .NET, JavaScript/Typescript, Frontend Frameworks (e.g. React) and Mongo/NoSQL
• Strong background in the fundamentals of programming concepts, design patterns, OOP, BDD, TDD
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications:
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Version control systems and methodologies (GIT preferred)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and public cloud deployment platforms (GCP)
