  Position Summary...

  What you'll do...

  Walmart Global Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Global Workforce Management team.

  As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our global workforce management system for our associates in stores, clubs and DCs! One of the initiatives you will be involved in is supporting the expansion and rollout of our business critical "Win The Day" application.

  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java development, Spring Boot, React, SQL, Azure, and GCP. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving results.

  What you'll do:

  Lead and participate in small to medium-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan; and providing leadership to the project team.

  Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.

  Provide support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); identifying short- and long-term solutions; facilitating resolutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.

  What you'll bring:

  5+ years of experience in full stack software development.

  Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, SQL, Azure, and GCP.

  Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  Ability to also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

  Experience demonstrating accomplishments involving the creation of clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  Ability to perform pull requests and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

  Strong experience troubleshooting and debugging software issues in a timely manner.
