About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.
In this role, you will:Utilize relevant experience in supporting Web/API platforms built using Java (Spring/Spring boot)Work with Engineering teams to maintain the SLAs & SLOs; identify opportunities to improve platform metrics & communicate the same to stakeholdersNavigate and troubleshoot legacy infrastructure along with cloud infrastructure (on prem & 3rd party) such as PCF or AzureIdentify opportunities to adopt to new technologies while improving the efficiency by removing toil while driving efficiency & optimizationProactively monitor app performance through Splunk, App dashboards, AppDynamics & Dynatrace etc.Represent Platform Engineering teams during production outages and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve production outagesCollaborate with stake holders across engineering function to own/derive RCA & work towards permanent resolutionPlan, support, execute and comply with governance programs/processes in support of a strong control environment in your functional area. Leverage process documentation to improve operational controls and identify and remediate process deficiencies. Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate and escalate risk originating from non-compliance of processes, operational errors, and data integrity issues in all applicable processesInfluence SRE practices within and outside teams to enable a strong DevOps culture in the organization; play a role of mentor/leader to coach other engineers in enabling SRE functionRequired Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of Spring experience4+ years of Core Java experience4+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience4+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services4+ years Online Banking systems development experience3+ years application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc.2+ years of Mongo DB experienceDesired Qualifications:Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, DG queries, PostmanPay Range
