In our roles you will be working on teams responsible for the architecture, design, development, integration and validation of next generation PC platforms. You will work across different projects to develop innovative products for new cutting-edge features and capabilities. And, you could also have the opportunity to work closely with other Intel groups to productize ingenious solutions that can be leveraged across a broader set of devices including IOT, servers, cloud and automotive.
We are looking for engineers who have excellent hands-on skills working on complex software projects and have Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS background. You will also have domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: security, audio, media, graphics, display, touch, power and performance, thermal and energy management, imaging/camera, IO devices (USB, Type-C, PCIe, etc.), sensors, connectivity (BT/modem/WWAN), storage and memory or over-clocking.

Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in CE, CS or EE or similar technical STEM degree
6+ years of relevant industry experience
6+ years of experience with one or more of the following: sub-domains - security, audio, media, graphics, power and performance, camera, USB, sensors, touch, connectivity - BT/modem, display, WWAN, firmware/bios, Thunderbolt, or over-clocking.
5+ years of experience in the following:
C/C++ programming
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have the ability to work independently and in teams
Knowledge of data structures, computer architecture, operating systems, and multithreaded programming
Using Presentation skills, ability to understand, specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams
Presenting to senior management and/or at industry level conferences
Technical fundamentals of Computer Architecture (SBIOS, Hardware, Driver), OS (such as Windows 10), software development process
Decision making and problem-solving role, sharing of technical specifications and marketing communication literature to OEMs
Stakeholder and conflict management skills
Preferred qualifications:
In addition to the minimum requirements five or more experience with one or more of the following:
Software development, debug, validation, or integration
Win, Linux or Chrome OS with kernel/driver expertise
Windows operating system fundamentals
Agile/scrum expertise
Working with teams across different GEO's

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Washington, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
