As a System development engineer for engineering excellence for Amazon device software teams, you will help deploy Amazon FOS and Amazon diagnostic software to CM, identify and implement process improvements across CMs and Amazon engineering teams and operation teams.
Key job responsibilities
Work with functional teams on the CM software onboarding and mentor CM software engineers.
Work with CM teams and operation teams on the FOS diagnostic software requirements.
On site support new project XVT builds in CM, manage diagnostic software release schedule, software build bring up, and support issues FA.
Deploy and maintain FOS diagnostic solution to the CM for the project.
Deploy and maintain FOS diagnostic system tools to the CM for the project.
Drive the improvement of factory process or diagnostic software solution.
Deliver investigation plans and reports, design specs, test solution document.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
