Job Description
Join Configurable Fabric Group where we develop leading edge core fabric technology and automation platform to push the boundaries of what's possible in System-On-Chip (SoC) architecture and design. Our team works in building world class software platform for delivering fully configurable Network on Chip IPs used in multi-billion-dollar client and server products across Intel.
As a key software developer of the high energy fabric automation team, your responsibilities will include:
Design and Develop software, hardware, and architectural features hands-on in Network on Chip software platform involving various industry leading protocols.
Optimize overall design and implementation of key routing algorithms, innovate with new performance simulator features and deadlock analysis solutions to support new customer needs.
Participate in brainstorming discussions in growing the overall scope and improving KPI (Key performance indices) of the Fabric IP Work directly with architecture, RTL and software verification teams to develop high quality cross functional features for IP releases:
As a successful candidate you must possess:
Strong foundation and understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming concepts and principles.
Advanced knowledge of the architecture, systems, simulation environment, development methods.
Proven track record in working on a few projects and taking them from definition to delivery and deployment.
Strong networking and planning skills combined with juggling competing priorities, deadlines, and prioritizing based on business impact.
Good Communication skills, problem solving skills and producing results in a challenging fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or any STEM related degree
4+ years of experience in software development
4+ years of experience in C++/C and Object-Oriented Programming
4+ years of experience QT, Perl, TCL
Preferred Qualifications
Python is a plus. - Excellent technical abilities (software development, design and architecting solutions)
Understanding of AMBA protocols (AXI, ACE, APB, CHI)
Exposure to hardware design concepts and flows (SystemC, RTL, Synthesis, Place and Route, CDC etc) is a plus.
Demonstrated creative thinking skills and hands on experience architecting, designing and implementing complex software projects.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,419.00-$185,123.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
