As a Senior Software Developer within our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the reliability and performance of the software, systems, and applications underpinning our healthcare platform. This involves profiling and monitoring applications to understand resource usage, response times, and key performance metrics. As a performance expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, testers, and system administrators to enhance algorithms, data structures, and code efficiency. In addition, you may take ownership or contribute to internal development initiatives to enhance observability coverage across Oracle Health products.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
Performance, design, and development expertise in Java, C++, or C# .Net.
Other recommended technologies and expertise may include CPU, JVM, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Rest APIs, and Design Patterns.
Demonstrated understanding of cloud-native architecture and experience with either AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is valuable but not required.
Reliability Engineering aims to increase the time that providers spend on patient care by reducing technology disruption. Reliability Engineering leads in-depth investigations into system issues, identifying root causes and providing comprehensive solutions to enhance the reliability of Oracle Health products. Your role involves diagnosing complex problems, gift-wrapping actionable resolutions, and collaborating closely with product teams to implement improvements.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
