About this role
Reporting directly to the East Group Operations Director, the Senior Site Manager role offers a unique chance to be the driving force behind outstanding performance and strategic operations across core processing facilities and central planning functions.
As the Senior Site Manager, you will lead operations at our bioenergy sites, Northern Maturation facilities and production planning and logistics teams, adhering to all statutory requirements and Diageo standards and ensuring compliance with Customs and Excise, Health and Safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead group operations to deliver world class performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Service, Cost) evidenced through improvement in OEE, productivity, reduced waste, improved COGS, adherence to plan, service (OTIF) and quality KPIs.Innovate and enhance site production processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to provide clear team leadership and challenge established practices.Work in tandem with Site Operations Managers, Performance Improvement Leads, and the Operations Director to address operational and performance issues.Be a role model to ensure all health & safety, environment, quality, cost and reliability standards are met and drive conformance to regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. ISO/HACCP etc.)Lead the manufacturing excellence program to develop performance, standards, capabilities and asset care to exceed balanced scorecard targets. Responsible for the site strategy, long-range plan, and delivery of annual operating planProvide outstanding leadership through strategic and systemic coaching, guidance and support to the leadership team line managers and all others on site. Actively spend 25% of time on shop floor
