Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Shipper/Receiver 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Prepares documentation and completes invoicing transaction for all shipments. This includes utilizing customer portals, completing ASN(Advanced Shipment Notifications), various carrier specific labels, ITAR specific documentation, export documentation, and government contract management. Performs transactions necessary to invoice customer orders specific to each customer requirement and ship method. Conducts auditing functions to verify correct shipments. Manages overtime to the shipment forecast.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Prepare, process, and distribute shipping documentation to support commercial, government, domestic, and international shipments. Comply with all international and hazardous shipping regulations.
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism, and expert knowledge in the areas of shipping procedures and processes.
• Adheres to all Eaton policies and procedures relative to SCM and shipping functions. Compliant with all AS9100 quality certifications.
• Problem-solves difficult customer relations issues; proactively addresses changing priorities; and positively manages projects, initiatives, and activities under tight deadlines
• Communications between internal/external customers, supply chain management, and staff regarding any issues, concerns, delivery status, etc.
• Works proactively with internal/external customers to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements while upholding the standard work procedures of the shipping office.
• Creatively thinks of delivery solutions to ensure shipment forecast dollars are hit daily/monthly and self-monitors the progress to the target throughout the work day.
• Bring shipping/invoicing errors to the attention of the immediate supervisor to put preventative measures in place.
• Uses correct packing methods are utilized to ensure shipments arrive safely and without damage
• Supports Continuous Improvement culture by attending tier meets as appropriate and compiling appropriate data when needed
• Maintain and follow customer-provided routing guides, packslip instruction page or determine mode of transportation based on Eaton/ATC routing instructions.
• Consolidate freight, schedule carriers, and maintain carrier systems
• Match material move tickets to material receipts, consolidate and tag for movement
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of Shipping/ Receiving experience

• Use and promote the principles of 5S to ensure a clean and organized work area
• Expert functional, administrative office, and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to respond to detailed inquiries in situations where others may not be knowledgeable or research may be required.
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Access and MS Project are a plus).
