Zendesk is looking for a Senior Salesforce Test Engineer to join our Customer Experience Business Systems engineering team working closely with our partners in Customer Advocacy, Enterprise Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Zendesk Product Development to help ensure quality standards are met in everything we build. You, and your team, will support our fast growing portfolio of business solutions, integrations and internal extensions to Zendesk products. This role requires a highly motivated and driven Software Development Test Engineer who is willing to learn and take on new challenges continuously. Responsibilities include analysing business requirements, designing test
parameters, writing test cases, and building automated quality checks using modern industry standard
methodologies.
What youll be doing:
Assure the quality and reliability of Zendesk product configurations, customizations and extensions used internally to support Zendesk customers.Develop flexible, robust, re-usable, and well documented test automation suites.Oversee and own quality assurance against product increments in sprint cycles.Conduct and assist with functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression and performance testing.Champion standard methodologies, high quality code, and ensure maximum test coverage. We ship code frequently and fast, but stability and reliability must never be compromised.Write end to end test plans and build test cases for supported integrations and applications in collaboration with our outstanding business partners.Drive the quality of enterprise grade business solutions and address the challenges presented when working at a global scale.
What you bring to the role:
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience testing all phases of QA efforts required to successfully execute medium & large enterprise Zendesk technologies implementation projects.Advanced coding skills in at least one language (Java/Python/JS preferred).Good Understanding of Javascript and NodeJS.Expertise with one or more Continuous Integration tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Travis.Experience configuring and using logging services to trace errors, configure alerts, and conduct system profiling (Datadog preferred).Familiarity with cloud application architecture and containerized systems.Must have effective communication skills to share testing knowledge and test strategy in a collaborative atmosphere in order to lead and influence positive quality results among other test teams.Must have experience in planning, preparing, and executing functional, integration and user acceptance testing; including end-to-end test scenarios across multiple systems and batch processesMust have proven experience as IT Quality Assurance for small to large projects, including experience in developing test strategies, and managing all aspects of software testing and defect management (manage defect calls)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Selenium in any of the programming languages listed above.Experience with BDD or KDD frameworks is a plus (Cucumber, ROBOT).Experience with RESTful APIs, standard methodologies around them and frameworks for API Automation testing (Karate preferred).Ability to work in a collaborative, global team-oriented environment
The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł140,000.00-zł210,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
