Position Summary
The EMEA Senior Sales Training Specialist Emerging Markets role will have responsibility for training the EMEA Life Sciences Sales teams. The role will involve partnering with the commercial leaders and our global training team to develop and deliver training in the classroom, field, virtual classroom or through online platforms.
This role is aimed at supporting sales colleagues in EMEA, our Emerging Markets team and from our distribution channels in Africa, Middle East and Easter Europe.
A proven passion for coaching and development is a key requirement to succeed in such a role.
Success will be defined through Training feedback scores, Sales performance indicators (incl. Opportunity funnel) and Product Revenue growth.
Key Goals & Responsibilities
Deliver Core Sales Skills Trainings to our sales team:
- Initial Sales Training (IST) of new sales colleagues
- Sales Excellence Curriculum (SEC) to support the development of our sales colleagues
- Sales Manager Development
Work closely together with colleagues of our training community (EMEA and Global) to leverage and share existing standard process
Business Partner with the Emerging Markets sales leadership team to report on existing activities, identify new needs and proactively offer solution
Enrich our internal comms channels to improve transparency & access to our learning programs
Works with colleagues across divisions to ensure regular product trainings are aligned with sales methodologies trained (both internal and Distributor).
Analyze training needs, craft and deliver "ad-hoc" training as required to meet colleagues and management needs
Build engaging learning activities, apply instructional design methods, develop course content and apply multimedia tools to improve the learning process in order to facilitate effective knowledge acquisition
Mentor SFD team members and support leadership as the need arises on specific projects.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Native or very proficient English requiredExperience with Korn Ferry / Miller Heiman development frameworks - PSS, SSwPAbility to influence at all levelsPassion for Training & People Development with strong communication & influencing skillsPrevious training experience and knowledge of adult learning principles / the training cycle would be advantageousCommercial experience > 5 years (Sales, Marketing)Ability to work in a close Team & Cross functional networkDemonstrated system and analytical skillsAbility to travel across EMEA (~35% time)Previous experience with LMS (e.g.: Docebo) a strong plus
