We are seeking an experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial Senior Sales Representative to play a crucial role in expanding our Doorstep customer base. The role involves developing and executing innovative sales initiatives, formulating and implementing a sales and growth roadmap, and building and leading a sales team to achieve these goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy with a revenue target (TBD).
Build and grow the customer base through innovative and effective sales initiatives tailored for the 3PL industry.
Collaborate with VP, Doorstep to create 1-to-5-year sales and growth roadmap for Doorstep.
Lead, manage, and expand the sales team, providing guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with the overall objectives of Doorstep.
Maintain a deep understanding of 3PL services, including the nuances of WMS and TMS.
Establish and track sales performance metrics and KPIs.
Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies to stay ahead in the industry.
Represent Doorstep in industry events and networking opportunities as needed
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the 3PL or logistics industry.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of WMS and TMS.
Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
