  As a key member of Siemens Grid Software, the Senior Sales Engineer will spearhead sales efforts in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Their focus includes acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships by promoting software solutions, strategic services, and educational offerings to a diverse range of stakeholders in the Philippines, including Utilities, System Operators, Industrial plants, Developers, Financial institutions, and Distribution partners.

  This role is responsible for delivering on a quarterly basis bookings number across the portfolio of products and solutions contained within the SI Grid Software including Meter Data Management business segment, Grid Simulation Software business segment, including but not limited to: PSS®E, PSS®ODMS, PSS®SINCAL, Network Model Management and Electrical Digital Twin solutions, and Grid Control business segment including but not limited to SCADA EMS and ADMS solutions.

  This role will be based in Cebu, Visayas office, involving occasional travel to the Mindanao region.

  You’ll break new ground by:

  Achieve or surpass orders booked and gross margin targets for Siemens Grid Software business in the Philippines.

  Organize and lead virtual teams across multiple product lines to address complex system solution requests from customers.

  Collaborate with Siemens business units, front-end sales, and Technical Sales resources to expand sales channels, boost sales, and penetrate underpenetrated accounts.

  Develop and execute the strategic plan for operations, presenting the sales pipeline and forecast bi-weekly to executive management.

  Formulate specific territory and opportunity capture plans, crucial for success in the role.

  Deliver customer presentations, proficiently demonstrate complex software solutions, and exhibit strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for both Siemens and customers.

  Lead strategy and market penetration efforts for innovative solutions, contributing to marketing activities, trade shows, and providing insights into market dynamics for effective target opportunity closures.

  You’d describe yourself as:

  Having 5+ years of business experience with responsibilities for consultative sales to Utilities, System Operators, Industrials, Developers, EPCs and Financial institutions.

  Proven track record of account management including accurate sales forecast, sales process management, and successful attainment of quota across multiple product/service lines.

  Demonstrating experience with diverse sales channels - direct, indirect, and diverse sales processes - professional service and software solution sales in large matrix organizations.

  Demonstrating negotiating skills, conflict management skills, sense of accountability, and the ability to work though others.

  Having the ability to strategize and demonstrate creative problem solving to overcome customer challenges and support job responsibilities.

  Having persuasive presentation and effective communication skills--both verbal and written.

  Willing and able to travel 50% of the time.
