Description
The Transportation Risk & Compliance (TRC) Operations Execution team in Europe is responsible for compliance of Amazon’s 3rd party Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) with wage standards, fringe benefit and minimum financial protection requirements as set by Amazon policy and/or in compliance with statutory requirements. TRC builds programs to assesses carrier compliance through audits/inspections, and drives transportation businesses to implement compliance solutions and mitigating controls through technology, detection and systematic enforcement of requirements. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. You’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key job responsibilities
• Development of inspections of Third-Parties programs in large-scale with clear quality standards for planned and ad-hoc reviews
• Perform assessment of Third-Parties according to applicable laws, standards and Amazon’s requirements
• Preparation and execution of inspections with a data-oriented approach
• Creation and implementation of concepts and recommendations for action in case of identified breaches of contract
• Work with partner teams to address the root-cause on non-compliance, by targeting initiatives and projects

Basic Qualifications
• University degree
• Fluency in English, both in writing and in speaking required, and written and verbal skills of a second foreign language (Spanish, Italian, German, French and/or Dutch)
• Demonstrated advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings
• Relevant experience communicating with and influencing a range of different stakeholders including senior management
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of legislation, employment law and payroll statutory obligations
• Risk, Auditing and/or Compliance experience (in both consultancy firms or companies)
• Proven Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain industry experience, preferably in a similar or equivalent role
• Understanding of basic data analytics and tools such as Tableau, SQL (intermediate to advanced)
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and Third-Parties through influence
