Job Description:

　　Chemical Market Analytics (CMA), by OPIS, a Dow Jones Company is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to work as a part of a team covering market research and analysis of the Asian Aromatics market. Key activities will be maintaining, updating, and expanding the CMA database and models.

　　You will:

　　Oversight of content, forecast methodology and quality. Provide ongoing analysis to the Aromatics services, generating and analysing trends, cost, and demand dependencies for products involved. Take ownership of the charts and tables that are published routinely and update them as required. Provide editorial overview on text submitted by global product experts for various reports. Create presentation materials in Microsoft Power Point for meetings and conferences. Respond to client questions and serve as a resource for client brainstorming/discussions. Supply/Demand - maintain production capacity database, and supply-demand balance forms through entire product chains including annual L-forms, short forms and quarterly balances as needed. Regional coordination with critical internal functions and other business lines. Working with the product service leads, engage functions, including Sales & Marketing, to facilitate business growth. Engage with other business lines to leverage the Chemical Market Analytics total solution. Work with the global team to ensure global product area consistency and continuity.

　　You have:

　　General chemical industry knowledge is essential, and previous experience of working in the Aromatics sector will be preferred. 3+ years industry experience, preferably in the chemical industry. An engineering degree is essential. MBA a strong plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure to achieve set deadlines and with a high attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Confident to speak/present to global clients or any internal/external events. Confident to face challenges and requests from clients. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Candidate must have Advance level expertise in Microsoft Excel
