　　SAMI stands for speech, audio and music intelligence. The SAMI team's mission is to empower content interaction and creation using speech & audio related technologies. We focus on cutting-edge R&D in areas like speech & audio, music processing, natural language understanding and multimodal deep learning. We are looking for top talents to work on these exciting technologies, integrate them into various products and ultimately bring joy to our global user base!

　　• As a team member, you will be involved in all aspects of studio production, from bespoke system design to project planning and engineering across the team's recording facilities

　　• Build and manage audio generation and related data (such as Speech Synthesis); deep understanding of product and algorithm requirements, delivering high-quality audio recording and annotation data:

　　• Set expectations with all stakeholders and drive communication throughout the planning and production process

　　• Work closely with the algorithm team in audio generation and related areas (such as Speech Synthesis)

　　• Strong understanding of AI technology to support TikTok products and use it to impact hundreds of millions of users:

　　Qualifications

　　• Pursuing B.S. or M.S. or P.H.D in mathematics, statistics, or computer-related fields;

　　• Software development experience in programming, deep learning, LLM and knowledge of principles and evaluation methods

　　• Knowledge/experience in designing and annotating tasks like TTS (Text-to-Speech) or ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition)

　　• Able to critically think and work independently

　　• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

　　• Proven problem-solving abilities under tight deadlines.

　　• Works well independently as well as with a team.

　　• Strong interpersonal skills.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88000 - $198444 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
