Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position that will require to be onsite in Irvine 3 days per week
You will make an impact by...
Perform routine control processes, including monitoring system jobs and reports, comparing manual rebate calculations to system calculations, and taking appropriate action to remedy any issues identified
Facilitate weekly rebate committee meetings to review all newly created programs for accuracy, and to provide the greater Contracts & Analytics team with visibility to new programs, structures, and best practices
Prepare data and track rebate payment process (identifying which rebates are coming due, which can be paid, payment methods, etc.)
Support Contracts & Analytics team with system updates on unique programs (such as manual overrides)
Validate customer-provided purchasing reports against Edwards sales data
Serve as a key resource for continuous improvement opportunities such as process change, system upgrades and implementations, etc.
Establish audit worthy evidence and documentation to ensure no significant audit deficiencies are identified by internal and/or external audit
Identify accounting process and system deficiencies, recommend process improvements to provide timely, accurate and useful information to ensure accurate financial reporting, and may also partner with both internal and external groups to drive required changes
Develop, maintain and update desk procedures documentation as processes change for efficiency
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related
A Minimum of 5 years previous related experience (or three years of experience with a Masters)

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems (Model N)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles
Expertise in own functional area and ability to coach others in various functional areas impacted within the business
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and regions
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental and cross-regional teams and serve as a key contact representing the department on projects

For California, the base pay range for this position is $78,000 to $120,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
