What about the role?
We’re looking for a Senior Quality and HSE Specialist in our Cyprus Plant. The role reports to Plant Manager and has 3 main functions;
to manage customer and consumer needs and expectationsto ensure compliance with applicable legal and Diageo requirements and FSSC 22000 and ISO9001: 2015 and OHSAS standardsto ensure continuous improvement of Quality, Food Safety and HSE management systems and to follow the actions taken, and planning/coordinating external audits.
What will you be doing?
Responsible for Raki Production QFS requirements related with Global Product SpecificationDevelop, implement and maintain Food Safety and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, FSSC programs and other regulatory standards.Perform and follow up the laboratory analyzes which included in Quality and Process plans.Running HSE Management Systems in accordance with legal requirements and company standards (GRMS) in the plantPerform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment at all stages and keep them up to date. Coordinates and performs periodical internal audits in the production area and ensure HACCP and GMP are applied.To support risk analysis and HSE training activities at the plantCarry out audits within the scope of GRMS, SFIP and SQIP report the findings and monitor the completion of the actions and to support the factories where necessary.Lead the Food Safety team and analyse the findings and ensure necessary actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence.Have knowledge about the relevant legal regulations and standards and follow up of legislative requirements.Continuous improvement by maintaining improvement studies in quality and food safety projects.Monitor daily quality activities and daily non-conformances. Initiate, review and update quality reports. Manage pest control programme.Carrying out occupational safety specialist and environmental officer responsibilities for the plant.Perform the trainings related with laboratory and quality standards.Track and manage consumer complaints & related actions for performance increase. Leads for teams and departments to take preventive and corrective actions for quality non-conformances.Promote and drive food safety culture.Ensuring the compliance status of occupational safety and environmental legislation at the plant.Follow up and prepare KPIs reports. Lead to the ongoing Quality and HSE Projects.

What we are looking for;
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Food EngineeringMinimum 2 years of experience in FMCG sectorAcknowledge of Production/ Plants dynamics in FMCG sectorExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish.Excellent skills in MS Office applications.Result oriented.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Creative and effective presentation skills.High resilience, agility and teamwork.Driving Licence (B)Native Turkish languageBased in Cypr
