The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is a key position within the Quality Assurance team within Salesforce Professional Services. The candidate works collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. This role works under minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment to ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, set and manage expectationsRequirement Analysis, Test Effort estimation, Test Design, Test execution, Defect Management and Test reportingProvide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards. Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments are not compromised.Ensure adherence to standardized QA policies, processes and documentation standards.Help define test cases. Test case reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followedMaintain a target billable utilization aligned to the roleLiaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementationsWorking remotely, while collaborating with global teams for delivery across geographies. We may need you to be flexible with your work hoursInteract, communicate and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phaseAbility to adapt to customer processes and integrate them into day to day work as needed without compromising best practices and qualityAssist in internal defect triage callsAssist customer with UAT testing as neededAssist with UAT defect triage calls
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a QA capacityMinimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Salesforce platformStrong understanding of SQA methodologies.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment is a must.Great attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defectsExperience in large-scale software deployments .SCRUM & Salesforce certification(s) a big plusUnderstanding of test automation framework design models and best practices a big plusAbility to adapt to short sprint cycles (2 weeks)Experience in the full software lifecycles from design to deploymentExcellent communication skills required and able to work independentlyAbility to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve resultsAbility to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
