BCAA is hiring a Regular Full-Time Senior QA Automation Engineer, Salesforce!
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC Head O ffice. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our 4567 Canada Way office and/ or are not looking to relocate to BC will not be considered. _ _
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional software quality through test automation and QA best practices. You will work closely with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and develop test plans and test cases, estimate efforts, and execute testing.

Once y o u’re here, you’ll :
Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
Analyze business requirements, use cases and architectural layers to estimate efforts and develop test strategies.
Develop and maintain well performing automated test scripts using programming or scripting languages.
Execute automated scripts for functional, regression, performance and load testing.
Perform manual testing when automated testing is not appropriate or cost effective.
Ensure optimal automated test coverage to include most common and business critical business flows.
Trouble shoot and resolve test environment instabilities.
Advocate development practices that support testability, defect prevention and early detection of defects.
Assess and recommend tools and technologies to optimize and expand automated testing.
Mentor more junior team members.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, of which:
2 to 3 years in application development.
5+ years solid hands-on experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks
1-2 years in a Senior/Lead QA role.
Technical knowledge: Common Salesforce QA automation tools, such as Provar.
Strong SQL hands on experience.
QA experience in Salesforce.
Working experience in CI/CD and automation tools such as Copado.
Experience in mentoring junior team members in test automation and QA practices.
Bonus Skills!
Experience in AWS or equivalent Cloud technologies.
Experience in working with Mulesoft.
The salary range for this position is $94,091.52 to $117,614.40 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
