JOB SUMMARY
The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and health of the product being developed and the overall business. Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments. Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. Play a critical role in delivering a high-quality product that exceeds the expectations of customers, clients, end users, product team, and stakeholders.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and executes test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage based on product requirements and specifications.Responsible for understanding business end-to-end domain and requirements, and running test cases against them to minimize the production defectsIdentifies and documents defects or issues found during testing and accurately report them to the development teamCollaborates closely with developers to communicate test results, discuss issues, and work together to resolve defects and improve the product qualitySets up and configuring the required test data, accounts for test execution Help troubleshoot issues in the lower environments and productionsDocuments test plans, cases, and results for traceability and knowledge sharingContributes to process improvement initiatives for continuous enhancementConduct post release testingConduct API Testing, Biller Testing and Configuration TestingDefines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test statusCollects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needsDocuments all problems and assists in their resolutionDelivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partnersPerforms quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed

Education
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience
System development, business/systems analysis, testing, and/or business experience - 5+ years

Education
Testing Certification ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
