　　Job Description

　　AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in Chicago, IL .

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Lead development and execution of significant rail/transit including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high speed rail, and/or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery.

　　Establish relationships with CTA, and other local agencies such as CDOT, IDOT and Metra.

　　Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.

　　Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transportation project teams.

　　Proven track record with large client account management, major-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development.

　　A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients.

　　Qualifications

　　MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

　　BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in leading engineering projects with major-project management experience.

　　Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.

　　PE license in Illinois or ability to obtain.

　　Ability to scope/estimate complex projects

　　Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience.

　　Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction.

　　Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role.

　　Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.

　　Travel may be required for this position.

　　The offered rate of compensation (Illinois locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $142,000 - $240,000.
