THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager for our dynamic and extremely passionate Mobile Automation team of engineers. Our MA team is quite unique, designing and developing cutting edge technology for Automated Guided Vehicles on site in Belrose. This is an exciting time for a high performing senior-level Engineer to join the Dematic team leading significant MA projects across ANZA.
This key position is responsible for the project delivery of our ANZA Mobile Automation team, focusing on our team's opportunity, risk management and customer experience. Being fully involved and responsible for all MA project delivery, budget management and schedules, this opportunity is perfectly aligned to significant expertise in:Cost Control,Business Acumen,Commercial and Contract experienceLine ManagementCommunication and LeadershipOperational experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Actively enhance Dematic's brand, ensuring AGV delivery to customers meet/exceed functionality and usability requirements.Support MA sales group for new business & market development, providing estimating support and risk reviews.Ensure all proposed solutions meet customer requirements, operator usability, Dematic's commercial goals, ease of installation, serviceability and the latest safety standards and regulations.Ensure all MA project's risk, budget, schedule and quality expectations are achieved while meeting customer needs and business objectives.Recruit, train & develop assigned staff within the MA project delivery business unit.Build and maintain a high performance, talented, energetic, high-character and customer focused team.Structure the team in a way that provides key person redundancy, establishing processes to minimise the effects of individual biases and weaknesses, and amplify strengths and advantages.Full operational management of the project delivery team and assisting with MA strategic planning.Staff utilisation, expenditure and budget management, including implementing tools for goal setting, ease of review and continual improvement.Ensure MA project delivery is standardised, competitive, innovative and easily & safely deployed.Support the MA Customer Service business unit, ensuring all customer site modernisation projects are delivered effectively with complete customer satisfaction.Continual improvements to drive down costs of Dematic's MA solutions, whilst increasing quality and value add to customers.Represent MA business and preparing associated reports, presentations as required.Executing business ethically, profitably, safely and to a superior quality.Tasks and Qualifications:
ABOUT YOU
Successful candidates will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical EngineeringPMP Certification (highly desirable)10 years' experience: Engineering business environment8 years' experience: Project Management (proven track record in on time, on budget project delivery, meeting customer requirements and business objectives)5 years' experience: Logistics/Manufacturing project delivery preferably on customer and supplier side.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration, leadership and team management skillsSignificant financial and contractual expertiseStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailExperience with MS Office, Projects, SAP, Power Bi desirableWillingness to travel when required.WHY BRING YOUR CAREER TO DEMATIC
