We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the Technical Support Services Team in providing technical and oversight support to the US Department of Energy, Portsmouth Paducah Project Office federal staff. Responsibilities include nuclear facility deactivation and demolition oversight, infrastructure services, engineering, oversight of D&D and infrastructure contractor performance, government contract/procurement support, surveillance and maintenance oversight, project management support, technical document preparation and review, and supervisory duties.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited universityTen years of relevant project management (Size, Scope and Complexity) experience or fifteen years related experiencePossess strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage and direct engineering, environmental or construction projectsExtensive experience in all aspects of project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality reviewExtensive experience in using related knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish programmatic goals and objectivesAbility to direct and coordinate a variety of professional disciplines to achieve project goalsProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently or in a team environmentExhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.Preferred QualificationsPMP CertificationDOE ExperienceD&D, D&R or S&M project experienceNuclear facility experienceThorough knowledge of the Portsmouth site and operationsDuration:Direct HireFederal Government Clearance:This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance.
