The Senior Project Coordinator position is critical to supporting our Public Sector San Diego Quality Improvement team. This position provides administrative support for a team of behavioral health clinicians, clinical quality analysts, and certified medical coders to ensure the clinical quality of our behavioral health provider networks. The Senior Project Coordinator oversees successful completion of clinical appeals, provider audits, contract and regulatory audits, and quality improvement projects.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Our office is located at Valley area San Diego, CA. Employees will be required to 3 onsite and 2 days from home.
We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee successful completion of clinical appeals, provider audits, contract audits, regulatory audits, and quality improvement projects. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas. Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope. Support project team meetings. Create process maps. Make presentations to leadership on project updates. Support contract and regulatory audits. Support clinical inter-rater reliability activities. Support compliance and quality assurance activities. Data collection, tracking, and trending of clinical appeals. Data collection and tracking of provider audits. Prepare correspondence. Prepare and validate data reports. Oversee provider and operation complaint assignment. Work collaboratively with individuals at all levels throughout the organization and with our stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED Working towards or have achieved certification in project management, LEAN, or Six Sigma. Experience in supporting project teams. Microsoft Word (creating documents), Microsoft Excel (creating and editing basic formulas, Pivot tables), and Microsoft PowerPoint (creating of slide, exporting projects into other programs, modify slides), Microsoft Outlook (managing calendars setting up meetings) Microsoft VISIO (creating process maps), Microsoft SharePoint 18 years of age OR older
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Microsoft Power BI dashboards.

Reside within 60 miles of a commutable distance from the Mission Valley area of San Diego, CA. California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $22.45 - $43.89 per hour.
