At DoorDash, people are our most important asset. The People Advocacy team works closely with leaders across our business to enhance the employee experience. Our People Advocacy Team provides internal consultation and thought leadership on a wide variety of people-centric issues as well as maintains a strong pulse on the sentiment of our employees.
About the Role
The Senior Program Manager, People Advocacy will partner with a wide range of cross-functional teams in support of our New Business Verticals and Customer Service functions. The primary purpose of this role is two-fold: First, this role will provide support to the People Advocacy Team in its goal to bring a more data-driven and programmatic approach to managing the employee experience. Second, this role will leverage various communications channels and forums (virtual and in-person) to obtain employee feedback and implement action plans based on opportunities identified. This role will be responsible for data gathering and analysis in support of People Advocacy objectives as well as the creation and management of numerous tools and programs. This role reports to the Senior Manager, People Advocacy.

Serve as one of several escalation points for employees, and leverage employee feedback to make recommendations and provide coaching to business leaders on how to maintain a positive work environment.
Drive enhancements to the team’s data collection, analysis and reporting processes as well as owning all team data analytics end-to-end.
Conduct proactive in-person and virtual focus groups with frontline employees, aimed at uncovering opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Create and organize print and electronic media including, but not limited to, fliers, email templates, talking points and scripts for leadership to leverage for the advancement of key people objectives.
Manage and up-level People Advocacy leadership training and continue to iterate on training to incorporate emerging best practices in leadership development.
Partner with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team to drive enhancements in our hourly workforce DEI programs.
We’re excited about you because…
You have 6+ years of HR/People experience with 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Employee Relations partner.
You have experience working with hourly workforces, preferably in retail or other service-oriented industries.
You have the ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest long-term solutions.
You have a knack for efficiency and organization and routinely find opportunities to optimize your work for yourself and others.
You possess an exceptional ability to prioritize and manage time effectively – you naturally focus on the right things and can seamlessly move between projects & tasks, without losing sight of what's important to do.
You feel comfortable working with data and analytics, and are able to turn data into insights and compelling stories.
You’re an outstanding communicator with relationship-building skills. You know when to listen, as well as when to speak up. You can communicate just as effectively with hourly frontline employees as you can with more senior leadership.
You have an owner mentality – you can't remember the last time you said: "that's not my problem".
You have the ability to travel domestically, up to 30% of the time, sometimes at short notice.

Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

California Pay Range:
$114,000—$180,000 USD
New York Pay Range:
$120,000—$180,000 USD
Washington Pay Range:
$114,000—$171,000 USD
