  As a Senior Program Manager, Micromobility, you will strategize, drive and execute Micromobility initiatives, innovations, programs and features both unique to JP as well as new global programs for Amazon Logistics Last Mile Delivery in Japan to create better customer experience and drive cost benefits for last mile deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with multiple functions and teams including internal teams of DS Operations, Field teams, Tech team, Biz Analytics, ACES and Support teams across JP and World-Wide geos. The ability to influence others without authority and speed to execution will be critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate possesses a track record of successful relationship management, program and project management, strong analytical and business acumen, and experience managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills will be essential to your success. The candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of program and business problems to create successful result.

  Key job responsibilities

  End to End implementation of JP specific and global Micromobility delivery programs by aligning respective stakeholders. This include multiple modes of transport including walkers, e-bikers, scooters, trikes and other applicable mode of transport beyond regular Kei-vans

  Creating execution strategy, setting priorities and communicating progress across business partners and stakeholders

  Translating the customer experience into a logical sequence and mapping our roadmap and program initiatives to measurable business value

  Leading cross-functionally to ensure we implement the business vision and operational goals efficiently

  Working with operations, product, legal and compliance, finance, tech and sustainability team to make prioritization/emulate good practices and conceptualize and implement program and tech interventions

  Coordinating with team across various regions and geographies to understand, learn and implement and execute as per Japan nuances

  Bringing creative ideas, pilot them and implement at scale to enhance customer experience

  Conducting quick pilot projects to gather learning, identify and implement the best scalable solution for Last Mile logistics requirements

  Identifying process gaps and drive projects for sustained improvements, influencing and working with technology, operations and business teams and leaders

  Identifying cost saving opportunities and execute raising the bar on customer and partner experience

  Tokyo, 13, JPN

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  5+ years of relevant work experience

  Business level of Japanese and English (both written and verbal)

  Experience in launching new programs

  Experience in improving customer/partner experience and business performance

  Preferred Qualifications

  MBA

  Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders and proven track record in working with multiple stakeholders for the particular project/program

  Sound business judgment and strong critical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

  Experience delivering highly visible and effective-customer-facing programs, applications and experiences

  Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

  Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

  High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
