To enable us to succeed in this large endeavor, we are looking for a Program Manager to play a critical role in managing on-time delivery operational objectives for Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload. This individual is tasked with defining a program strategy, building the metrics and framework to drive their program forward, directly interfacing with product and tech stakeholders, and ensuring operations compliance to KPIs and cost metrics.
Main areas of ownership include: (1) building a roadmap for their program, (2) building mechanisms that enable operational excellence, (3) conducting analyses to inform strategic investments, and (4) driving innovation in operational processes and technology across Amazon Freight's Less-Than-Truckload network.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with teams across the business to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
Influence design and development of strategic processes
Work with program managers, product managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
Gather and analyze data to drive business decisions
Innovate to improve processes and continuously remove cost from operations
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
Engage other Amazon business units to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Experience defining and executing program requirements
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
