  Position Overview

  Autodesk's Entertainment & Media Solutions team is looking for a Senior Product Manager who'll focus on the areas of Simulation and Proceduralism. Reporting to our Director of Product Management for Content Creation Software, you'll be a collaborator who bridges customer needs and engineering requirements with an eye toward a creative future. You will contribute significantly to building the next generation of solutions and services for our Content Creation Software products and to Autodesk's Flow platform for Film, TV, and Games. You will meet with customers and our partners to inform and validate our product roadmap. You will also lead and partner with our teams to accomplish our product strategy, ensuring we're prioritizing the workflows that provide the most impact to our customers.

  Responsibilities

  Guide roadmaps for our Content Creation and Platform initiatives based on an acute awareness of how simulation and proceduralism are used today in production and its evolutionUse your Film/ TV / Games domain experience to define, champion, and implement a holistic product vision for our Media & Entertainment offeringsBe the customer-facing leader to learn and document what our customers need and how we can make them successfulManage product roadmap, define and communicate priority workflows and enhancements, assess risks and dependenciesTranslate problem statements and customer needs into story maps to inform development priorities and plansCollaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX designers, developers, and other important partners to implement our product visionBreak down complex problems into user-focused solutionsProvide insights from customer discovery and validation that support iterative developmentRemain acutely aware of the evolution of different open-source projects and standards used in the entertainment and media industryStay informed of industry-related trends and technology evolutionEngage customers and the industry through activities such as customer councils, executive briefings, industry events, media support

  Minimum Qualifications

  10+ years of professional work experience in Film / TV / Games production studios (R&D or production), working across producers, technical directors, production managers and artists, completing large-scale projectsExperience defining and tracking software product metricsAdaptable and inclusive approach when working with other teamsDemonstrated experience managing multiple large-scale projects, assessing risks and dependenciesPragmatic with analytical abilities, adopting a data-driven approach to decision-makingData summarizing skills, comfortable making sense of different data sources to inform where to make trade-offsExperience presenting new ideas and concepts to different audiences, such as executives, technologists, and customersComfortable working within a large global organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience with Autodesk's Content Creation software (Maya, 3ds max) as used in VFX, Animation, Game pipelines, or similar softwareIntimate understanding and point of view on the challenges that our customers face with simulation and proceduralismExperience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environmentFamiliarity with statistical analytics platforms and conceptsDemonstrated track record with making data-driven decisions

  L'équipe Entertainment & Media Solutions d'Autodesk est à la recherche d'un(e) Gestionnaire de produit sénior, qui se concentrera sur les domaines de la Simulation et du Procéduralisme (pertinents pour le monde des effets visuels!). Relevant de notre Directeur, Gestion des produits, vous serez un(e) collaborateur(trice) qui fera le lien entre les besoins de nos clients et des capacités techniques, tout en maintenant un œil sur le futur et l'innovation. Vous contribuerez à mettre sur pied la prochaine génération de solutions et de services pour nos logiciels de création de contenu et notre nouvelle plateforme cloud, Autodesk Flow. Vous rencontrerez des clients et nos partenaires pour informer et valider notre feuille de route. Vous dirigerez également et collaborerez avec nos équipes pour accomplir notre stratégie de produit, tout en veillant à ce que nous priorisons les flux de travail qui ont le plus d'impact sur nos clients.

  Responsabilités principales

  Guider les feuilles de route pour nos logiciels de création de contenu et notre plateforme en prenant conscience de la façon dont la simulation et le procéduralisme sont utilisés dans la production de cinéma, effets spéciaux et création de jeu vidéo.Utiliser votre expérience dans le domaine Film/TV/Jeux pour définir, promouvoir et mettre en œuvre une vision de produit holistique pour nos offres de Médias et de DivertissementAgir en tant que leader auprès de nos clients pour en apprendre davantage sur leurs besoins et documenter comment nous pouvons les aider à devenir plus performants avec nos solutionsGérer la feuille de route de produit, définir et communiquer les flux de travail prioritaires et les améliorations, évaluer les risques et les dépendancesTraduire les énoncés de problèmes et les besoins des clients en cartes d'histoires pour informer les priorités et les plans de développement de logicielCollaborer avec les propriétaires de produits (Product Owners), les Scrum Masters, les concepteurs UX, les développeurs et d'autres partenaires importants pour mettre en œuvre notre vision de produitDiviser les problèmes complexes en solutions axées sur l'utilisateurFournir des requis issues de la découverte et de la validation avec nos clients facilitant le développement itératifÊtre à l'affût de l'évolution des différents projets open-source et des normes utilisées dans l'industrie des médias et du divertissementRester informé(e) des tendances liées à l'industrie et à l'évolution des technologies dans le secteurInteragir avec notre clientèle et l'industrie à travers diverses activités, telles que les comités-clients, des présentations de cadres supérieurs, des événements de l'industrie et par le biais des médias

  Salary transparency

  Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $151,400 and $244,860. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
