  Who we are looking for

  Digital Product Creation is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team who is data-centric focused and passionate about enabling our digital transformation through data. We seek someone with strong knowledge in software product development, solid product management background, and a proven track record of delivering solutions that improve the productivity of users..We are looking for a highly strategic and tactical, analytical, innovative, consumer-and data-centric focused, team-oriented individual who can simultaneously understand the big picture and have a strong command of complex details. The selected candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results under tight timelines and bringing cross-functional teams together to meet evolving business needs. This role is an integral part of the team, working in a highly cross-functional highly-matrixed dynamic and fast-paced working environment!

  What you will work on

  The SeniorProduct Manager is ultimately accountable for on-time value drops, feature delivery of the team.

  This person will:

  Be the liaison between our cross-functional partners and our product squad team in understanding and documenting requirements, use cases, business benefits/impacts, and source to target mappings, etc.Be key to understanding our data better and delivering foundational data artifacts that will ensure operational readiness of our data for secure access and consumption, including the realization of a complete set of metadata.Work in an agile environment, creating and prioritizing epics and working with the team to translate requirements into stories with acceptance criteria, track deliverables and timelines, and manage and escalate risks as necessaryCoordinate intake requests and gather all the necessary details to facilitate request reviews, prioritization and access approvalsSet quarterly key results and metrics to ensure that we as a team are delivering business value that ladders up to our organizations top prioritiesEnsure that team is delivering and tracking to work defined on the roadmap and quarterly planning commitments.Champion data-driven product vision and strategy that supports Nike's top priorities. Identify the strategic product implications and opportunities resulting from major corporate strategies and change initiatives.Manages expectations. Accountable for planning for and supporting the performance of a feature, under direction.Leads structured meetings, clearly communicating expectations, plans, and requirements for the product. Ensures that partners are kept up to date on progress.This role is inherently data-centric and cross-functional. The selected candidate will work closely with business and tech partners within the enterprise to meet their data needs.

  What you bring

  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or other relevant area, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training5+ years of experience in Product Management and Product DeliveryExcellent listener and communicator who can effectively facilitate intake requests, requirements gathering, understanding of use cases and other types of cross-functional discussionsHighly proficient in SQL, MYSQL or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasetsGood understanding and ability to interpret JSON contracts, APIsHighly proficient in creation of new and understanding of existing Source to Target Mappings of data transformations and integrationsHighly proficient in data analysis and validationExperience working on metadataPassionate about documentationAbility to timely and proactively manage issues, risks, dependencies and deliverablesPositive demeanorStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationDemonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environmentExperience operating in Agile/SCRUM delivery methodologyAbility to quickly ramp-up on the different Product Creation data sources availablePassion for data and doing the right thingAbility to manage the intake and prioritization process to understand data needs from both business and tech partners and consumers.Technical proficiency to query data, access data from both front-end and back-end applications, and able to build and read source to target mappingsKnowledge on metadata (work experience on metadata preferred)Strong analytical and proficient technical background: Ability to own an epic E2E, defining acceptance criteria and ensure that all dependent teams are aware of any changes or work required, including integrations.
