As a Senior Product Manager, you will work directly with a cross-functional product team to deliver amazing products and services that delight, build connections, and deliver value to both customers and Ford. In the Electrification Product team, we are aiming to help customers with their onboarding experience, home charging, public charging, managing range and reducing range anxiety, and route planning. You’ll also work on providing EV unique features and opportunities for customers to capture value through grid and energy services, bi-directional power, and more.

What you'll be able to do:
Develop a compelling product strategy
Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features
Represent the user's perspective throughout the product lifecycle - from problem discovery, solution ideation, and validation through iterative development and delivery
Guide product decisions through user research and iterative feedback loops
Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, business partners, and fellow product managers
Earn trust with others and cut through ambiguity
Facilitate and participate in design thinking sessions with various technical and non-technical stakeholders
Assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints
Collaborate with mobile designers and engineers to rapidly iterate design prototypes and working applications
Produce materials for business partners and developers, including user flows, roadmap, and user stories
Drive ongoing and frequent iterative improvements while championing an experiment-focused culture
Influence the product management competency as it grows within Ford Digital Product
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of technical experience
3+ years of startup or entrepreneurial experience
2+ years of leadership experience
Our preferred requirements:
MBA
Experience coaching and guiding others in the technical space
Experience with conducting discovery and user validation interviews
Experience working independently with internal stakeholders and clients
Experience working with product designers and software engineers
Strong product intuition with a passion for creating innovative, experience-driven products
Conviction to always do what's best for customers, with a humility to listen and learn.
Flexibility to adapt to change and influence in a dynamic environment
Exceptional communication skills with a proven record of creating, documenting, and presenting product strategies and features
Foundational, analytical, and technical: you can collect and analyze data from various sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions
Develop strong technical knowledge to dive deep to troubleshoot customer issues
