About Senior Product Manager, Amazon Go

  Description

Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkout—you just grab and go! Customers enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go!

Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology, which automatically detects when products are taken from, or returned to the shelves, and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When you’re done shopping, you can just leave the store. Shortly after, we’ll charge your Amazon account and send you a receipt.

  Check it out at amazon.com/go.

We’re looking for a talented, smart, and driven Senior Product Manager. This person will work cross-functionally across retail, operations and technology teams to identify and lead the product management roadmap for the Go Entry and Exit CX, and Retail Programs.

You thrive as an individual contributor who delivers solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible while maintaining a strong associate and customer focus. This role requires you to become a subject matter expert, with a deep understanding of our customer, the business landscape, product functionality and technologies.

If you are someone who has shown success in analyzing complex data, defining a vision for a product or suite of products that will impact a long term strategy and pioneering new ways to do things, we’d like to talk to you.

The Team: Our team is comprised of highly entrepreneurial, flexible, and hardworking professionals, energized by working in an environment far closer to a startup than established tech company. Our group is comprised of diverse backgrounds and individuals with a willingness to roll up their sleeves, doing whatever it takes accomplish the Amazon Go vision.

-Strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership

-Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities

-Provide critical thinking and influence cross functionally on streamlining processes within the overall Go Business

-Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

-Define, track and report product success metrics
