Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Senior Principal Project Management and Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This position is located onsite in Palmdale, California.
Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from proposal development through execution and contract closeout. Primary responsibilities require support of all functions across the supply chain for a particular work scope, including but not limited to: Requirements and Planning, Supplier Management, Business Management, Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Logistics.
Responsibilities: Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Assists in the development of solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives Represents organization as a prime contact on projects. May develop and deliver presentations Basic Qualifications: Must have 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, logistics, subcontracts, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters (Level 3)Must have 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, logistics, subcontracts, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters (Level 4)Must have a Current, active DoD Secret clearance within 4 years of last investigation/ adjudicationMust have SAP experienceMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access Preferred Qualifications: Current Special Program AccessExperience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, ProjectProject integration experience, including strong written and verbal communication, work well with cross-functional and diverse groups, presentation skills, and working with senior leadershipPossess the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environmentBe able to organize and execute tasks well and to a level of completion that creates value success criteriaSharePoint and Tableau experienceCPLM, and MES experienceAerospace and/or Defense Industry ExperienceSalary Range: $86,300 - $129,500
Salary Range 2: $107,000 - $160,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
