  About Us: We are a dynamic and fast-paced Web engineering team seeking an experienced and talented Senior Principal Software Developer to join us. As a Senior Principal Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications.   Responsibilities:

  Full-stack Development:

  Oversee Oracle external sites front-end development architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business goals.

  Lead the end-to-end development of web solutions, from conceptualization to deployment.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.

  Code Review and Mentorship:

  Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.

  Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  Architecture and Design:

  Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Dynamic Tag Management System, implementing and managing tags for analytics, chatbot, and advertising.

  Implement best practices in web development, coding standards, and documentation.

  Privacy Regulations:

  Lead development efforts to integrate and ensure compliance with cookie regulations, prioritizing user privacy and legal adherence.

  Work with the privacy and security team to ensure legal requirements are met for integrating applications and tools.

  Problem Solving:

  Analyze complex technical problems and propose creative solutions.

  Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

  Collaboration:

  Collaborate with Product Development teams on feature requests, use cases, and requirements related to A/B testing, analytics, and content management solutions.

  Collaborate with product owners, project managers, vendors and customers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development.

  Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React and Headless architecture.

  Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

  Strong experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

  Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  Responsibilities

  As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

  Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
