Raytheon’s Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department is seeking a temporary Training Lead for Visual Inspection. AMS develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, millimeter/microwave integrated circuits, and modules for defense and commercial applications. The individual in this role will serve as training lead for the Die Visual Work-Center, which focuses primarily on inspection and pick-and-place operations in the back end of the line for semiconductor device manufacturing. This position is onsite in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities to anticipate:
Training of current and incoming process engineers on inspection procedure compliant to Mil-Std-880, pick and place, and automated inspection in the Die Visual Work-Center
Develop and support automated inspection recipes and pick and place programs for new and existing products on Onto/Rudolph NSX inspection tools
Work independently to identify training gaps and address technical needs with existing Work-Center personnel
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Science or Arts in, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of relevant experience in computer or software engineering OR a STEM Master's and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Onto/Rudolph NSX-95 and NSX-220 automated inspection tools, Royce AP+ pick and place tools, and device packaging processes
Experience with programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Onto/Rudolph automated inspection equipment
Experience with inspection training to MIL-STD requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Access database creation and maintenance experience
Ability to create, document, and maintain work instructions
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
