Labcorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to work with our performance testing team. Labcorp specializes in diagnostics, drug development, and technology-enabled solutions to improve health and improve lives.
The Senior Performance Test Engineer is responsible for defining and implementing performance test strategies to include automating, configuring and executing performance testing activities independently and under the direction and guidance of a Performance Test Lead for a broad range of applications and platforms. Planning activities involve working closely with cross functional team members to define repeatable and scalable performance testing activities within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
At least 5 years of experience planning, designing, programming, configuring and executing performance tests requiredAt least 4 years of experience planning and developing test strategies, designing performance test scenarios, and analyzing performance test resultsExperience designing and developing performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability tests at system, sub-system, and component levelsAbility to understand systems at multiple layers and functionally decompose systems for performance analysisParticipate in the continuous improvement of performance testing activities including automation, framework, and methodology improvementsKnowledge and experience of testing practices as applied to unit, functional, integration, and system level testing activitiesExperience with Functional and Performance testing tools, to include HP ALM Performance Center Edition & LoadRunner, Rational Test Workbench, MS Web Test or similar toolsProven programming experience with C, Java, C#, Python, Javascript or similar languages

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.A minimum of 5+ years of experience in performance testingStrong proficiency in performance testing tools, such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling.Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address performance issues.Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Experience with Agile methodologies and project management skills to effectively manage testing projects.
