As the Senior People Systems Manager - HCM, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful adoption and implementation of our HCM software and people technology solutions. This role is for someone who isn't afraid to wear multiple hats and believes a company's greatest asset is their people.
Your primary focus will be to lead the execution of operational human capital management activities, including: offering HCM strategies that align with functional and business objectives, providing HCM administration and support, and owning the roadmap for ongoing enhancements & release management. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, People Systems and will work closely with all members of our global People (Human Resources) team alongside many members of the extended global Cornerstone family.
In this role you will...
Drive adoption, optimization and utilization of our HCM technology and solutions
Collaborate with People team and leaders to develop customized HCM strategies that align with their business goals and leverage our software and People technology effectively.
Continuously evaluate and identify efficiencies, and initiate programs to enhance system services, processes, and offerings to meet organizational goals and data needs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support cohesive people process improvements and effectiveness
Implement change management initiatives related to our software technology solutions and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption
Provide training sessions and ongoing up-skilling support to the People team and end-users, equipping them with the knowledge to use our products efficiently.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and escalations, providing exceptional customer service and timely resolution, including testing and troubleshooting as needed
Support daily operations and project manage key initiatives.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and advancements in HCM and learning technology
Attain and maintain product certification on Cornerstone products where necessary
You've got what it takes if you have...
Proven experience (5+ years) as an HCM Manager, experience as the customer during an implementation phase is preferable
Experience with leading at least 1 full life cycle HCM implementation with experience covering requirement development and definition, functional solution design, implementation, data-migration, system testing, user acceptance testing and go-live.
Functional expertise in various HCM modules, with a focus on HR core
In-depth knowledge of HCM principles, talent management strategies, and HR technology/service platforms ( e.g. ServiceNow, Cornerstone. etc.)
Strong Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Competence to grasp complex system workflows, to understand cause and effect for actions taken in a business process or software system
The skill to present, train and educate small to large groups, in person or via Teams/Slack
A learning mindset continued curiosity to learn new systems and technical skills to support personal goals and development
Demonstrated ability to keep confidences and act with integrity to uphold high standards with regards to data and personnel matters
Obsessive attention to detail and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain creative problem-solving skills
Possess strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, acting as the consummate team player
Self-starter, the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
