  You‘ll make an impact by:

  As a Senior PCS 7 Service Engineer at Siemens' Digital Industries Customer Services division, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced support and expertise to our clients using Simatic PCS 7 systems. With a focus on water, oil, and gas, and petrochemical industries, your extensive experience in Simatic PCS 7 and industry-specific knowledge will contribute to the success of our customers' complex automation solutions.

  Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Simatic PCS 7 systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization, and provide advanced technical support to customers.

  Industry-Specific Knowledge: Leverage your experience in water, oil, and gas, and petrochemical industries to understand the unique challenges and requirements of these sectors and provide tailored solutions.

  Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by addressing complex issues, optimizing PCS 7 systems, and exceeding customer expectations.

  Service Operations Support: Collaborate with the service operations team to address PCS 7-related service requests, incidents, and escalations and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

  Problem Resolution: Independently resolve intricate customer issues related to PCS 7 systems and provide guidance to less experienced engineers when needed.

  Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of PCS 7 service activities, including configurations, installations, and resolutions. Prepare technical reports for management and customers.

  Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring less experienced engineers, sharing your expertise in PCS 7 systems and industry-specific knowledge. Technical Training: Stay current with Siemens products and services, attend relevant training sessions, and keep up-to-date with industry advancements.

  Collaboration: Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and performance optimization.

  Safety: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed in the context of PCS 7 service activities.

  Your success is grounded in

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., electrical, automation, or related discipline).

  A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Simatic PCS 7 systems is a must.

  Extensive experience in the water, oil, and gas, and petrochemical industries.

  Profound technical knowledge of Siemens Simatic PCS 7 systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

  Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.

  Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  Commitment to safety and quality standards.
