Job Summary.
The Senior Payment Process Analyst helps to support the Team Lead Payments Operations to enable payments scalability and efficiency. The role focuses on automation and continuous improvement, monitoring, controlling and analysis of processes. Also delivers projects by supporting the implementation of new products and new infrastructure to allow business growth and connected trip. The role requires a deep understanding of payments operations including but not limited to payment lifecycle, accounting and clearing, payment rules such as cut-off times and operational risk management in order to assist in identifying where process improvements can be implemented. Responsible for executing key projects within a field of expertise.

Responsibilities: Work on daily ongoing processes with critical mentality to make recommendations on how to eliminate manual work and make processes more scalable Develop, implement and perform control procedures timely and accurately to decrease financial risks and proactively identify payout and clearing issues. Ensure comprehensive documentation of payment processes, policies, and procedures is being created and maintained. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies in all payment activities Oversee month end reconciliation activities and support on Audits as required Prepare reports, dashboards and analysis, including running and executing SQL queries. Work with Data and Fintech teams to ensure the Payment Execution Team has the insights it needs. Support and advocate for a data driven culture within the team and with your stakeholders. Use analysis of payment data to detect discrepancies, anomalies, and trends, and take corrective actions if needed. Drive resolution that requires coordination across several teams as required. Assist in implementing new change initiatives Ad-hoc projects as requested. Work closely together on assignments, share knowledge and best practices. Drive excellence. Identifies innovative ideas to improve the customer & partner journey, and increase efficiency. Support the Team Lead Payments Operations to help define team objectives & individual OKRs. Support the Team Lead Payments Operations to enable measurement of operational excellence (SLA compliance, KPIs & quality controls) Oversee, provide coaching and assist on individual and collective team projects within the Payments Operations Accounting & Payout team. Educating internal teams on (online) payments-related inbound topics. Act as the escalation point of contact for third party vendors and internal teams on payments Coach the team members over process improvements based on inbound analysis to create a seamless stakeholders' experience Act as escalation point and emergency backup on all tasks including any bulk/automated payments, issues on payouts and systems/technology. Work together with Process Owners to drive team's roadmap Requirements: Master degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field; Excellent English speaker with strong communication skills, able to adapt style and approach in order to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders from a variety of different cultures; Accurate with good attention to detail; Strong organizational and prioritizing skills. Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment; Demonstrate relentless tenacity to drive business objectives and deliver results; Customer driven and service oriented. Keep the overview of several complex tasks / projects that run at the same time; Driven to operate at scale and reduce manual efforts; Data Driven with a passion to develop insights and drive data and analytical maturity; Able to run and execute SQL queries and knowledge of SAP. Systems knowledge and experiences with systems such as SWIFT, SAP, Tableau/ BI reporting tooling.
