Senior Network Security Engineer | On-prem and Cloud

　　We are a high performing team responsible for the global network and network security infrastructure estate for Rapid7. Our mission is to create scalable, secure and integrated solutions for our internal customers. This will include some traditional on-prem environments and also diverse Cloud environments.

　　About the Role

　　As a Network Security Engineer you will work as part of a small team with responsibility for designing, maintaining and implementing all infrastructure network systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a major impact on the internal infrastructure of Rapid7.

　　In this role, you will:

　　Review, design, and build secure scalable networksCollaborate with and support our information security, IT, and other teams to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain network security systemsWork towards evolving our network toward a Zero Trust modelResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for network systems tasksPerform daily monitoring of the network,, verifying the integrity and availability of all network security systems

　　The skills you'll bring include:

　　Network/security certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, Network+, Security+, CCNP, OSCP, CCIE Experience designing and building virtual/cloud and on-premise corporate networks with complex routing, switching and securityExperience with GCP & AWS cloud network architectures and computing2+ years of coding experience with one or more languages such as Python or Golang. You are going to be coding lots of things for automation so this one is importantExperience configuring and maintaining network devices, such as next-gen firewalls and switchesExperience with the standards compliance processExcellent time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to plan, prioritise, and execute projects autonomously or in coordination with other teams

　　Experience with AIExperience with Identity Access ManagementExperience implementing, administering, and using Rapid7 products (e.g. InsightVM/Nexpose, InsightIDR, InsightConnect, etc.)Experience with network vulnerability testing tools
