　　About the Team

　　The IT APAC-Service Operation team is at the forefront of supporting comprehensive IT services, with a primary focus on network, audio-visual, and system operations. Our mission is to provide reliable, efficient, and secure IT services to support the organization's operations and growth in the Asia-Pacific region while ensuring the highest standards of service and support.

　　In line with our commitment to excellence, we are also actively seeking an experienced senior network operations engineer to support our offices across the APAC region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and management of ByteDance's IT networks, covering both campus and backbone network infrastructure, and network automations.

　　Responsibilities:

　　1. Manage and oversee TikTok's IT networks, encompassing campus and backbone infrastructure, and providing network support during major all-hands events.

　　2. Address network escalations (Tier-2), conduct troubleshooting, and execute routine maintenance tasks like regular inspections, handling alerts, responding to business inquiries, and managing routine network changes.

　　3. Streamline workflows and processes to enhance efficiency via optimization and automation, standardizing troubshotting procedures, and refining network escalation and services processes. Engage closely with vendor/manufacturer to coordinate maintenance processes, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to standards.

　　4. Collaborate with the network architecture team in iterating on architecture and standards, conducting research on related requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring effective implementation.

　　Qualifications

　　1. Bachelor's degree or higher in network communications, computer science, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in network operations.

　　2. Proficient in configuring, debugging, and troubleshooting networks and security equipment(Cisco, Arista, Huawei, Palo Alto, Aruba).

　　3. Understanding of the TCP/IP model, familiarity with IPV4/IPV6, TCP/UDP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and common VPNs like IPsec/GRE/SSL VPN and their usage principles.

　　4. Knowledge of switching & routing-related protocol stacks, including IEEE802.3/STP/OSPF/BGP/VXLAN and similar stacks.

　　5. Familiarity with wireless network communication principles, adept at troubleshooting wireless networks, and preferred experience in planning, constructing, and optimizing park and office area wireless networks at scale.

　　6. Understanding of SDWAN solutions, with troubleshooting skills, and preferred experience in enterprise SDWAN planning and deployment is a plus.

　　7. Experienced in network automation concept and tools(python, ansible, git) is a plus.

　　8. Possession of advanced networking certifications like CCIE, HCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent certificates is a plus.
